Looking to meet up in Chicago!

My name is Petra, I am one of the assistant organizers of one of the Brazilian meet up groups in Chicago. I got involved because I used to live in Brazil and still miss it alot. I have also lived in Jamaica, St. John and various places in the US. I'm originally from Berlin, Germany and am looking to meet people who can relate to world travel. I'd like to meet someone to share all the interesting experiences traveling brings. If the Chicago linguists have a meetup please let me know. If you guys need help organizing something I'd be more than willing to help.
